General provisions applicable to all types of reservations or purchases at De Bonte Os - Hotel & Tower:
The following general terms and conditions apply to:
The use of the website;
Your reservations for accommodation at De Bonte Os - Hotel & Tower;
Your reservations in our wellness facilities;
Your reservations in our restaurants;
Your reservations for events, banquets, and conferences.
By visiting the website www.debonteos.be and making purchases or reservations through this website, you fully accept these general terms and conditions.
Deviation from these terms is only valid if accepted in writing by De Bonte Os - Hotel & Tower.
Subletting
Guests are not allowed to transfer their rights and obligations under reservation contracts to third parties without prior written consent from De Bonte Os - Hotel & Tower.
Reserved rooms or spaces may not be sublet to third parties.
In the case of hotel reservations on behalf of third parties, the person making the reservation must disclose the identity of the actual staying persons.
GDPR
De Bonte Os - Hotel & Tower complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and the Council of April 27, 2016, regarding the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data (General Data Protection Regulation or GDPR), as well as the law of December 8, 1992, on the protection of privacy concerning the processing of personal data.
Therefore, De Bonte Os - Hotel & Tower undertakes to protect and guarantee the confidentiality of all personal data collected through the website or communicated by the customer through email contacts, reservations in one of our establishments, or any other means.

Intellectual Property Rights
Customers are prohibited from referring to or using signs, acronyms, logos depending on the names of the hotel or the company, as well as photos taken during the execution of the contract in the premises of the hotel, without prior written permission from the general management of De Bonte Os - Hotel & Tower.
Complaints
We hope you will be satisfied with our services.

To be valid, all complaints must be received within 8 days of the invoice dispatch or the end of the stay.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
In case of dispute, Belgian law applies, and, notwithstanding Title VI "Market Practices and Consumer Protection" of the Code of Economic Law, the courts of West Flanders have jurisdiction.
Personal Data
The personal data collected when you make a reservation is used to manage our relationship with you (reservations, information requests, billing, parking management, etc.) to ensure optimal service.
Copyright
De Bonte Os Hotel & Tower retains all intellectual property rights to the website and the provided information. The texts, layout, illustrations, and other elements on this site are protected by copyright. Any copy, adaptation, translation, arrangement, or modification of all or part of this site, in any form, is strictly prohibited without the prior written consent of the copyright holder.
Liability
All our hotels and hotel rooms are non-smoking. The hotel reserves the right to charge a fixed cleaning fee of 100 euros to guests who smoke in the hotel or in a room.
It is prohibited to affix, staple, or otherwise attach posters to walls, floors, or ceilings. The Customer will be responsible for repairing damage caused by non-compliance with these rules.
The hotel disclaims all responsibility for damage to cars and theft of items left in the car; for the loss or disappearance of valuables not deposited in the safe in the room or at the reception; or for goods left unattended in public areas, corridors, or meeting rooms.
In the event of force majeure, the hotel is relieved of any liability in the event of total or partial non-performance of the contract due to an accidental event caused by a third party, by the government, or by a case of force majeure, such as, but not limited to, complete strikes, lockouts, floods, fires, or terrorist attacks.
Payment Terms
The reservation is confirmed upon receipt of payment or communication of your credit card number.
In the case of payment by credit card, your credit card is only used as a guarantee for your reservation. Your credit card will only be charged if you reserve a room at a special rate with different conditions. In all other cases, your credit card will be automatically debited upon check-out.
In case of payment by debit card (Bancontact, IDEAL, or Maestro), the full amount is charged at the time of booking.
In case of payment by bank transfer, your reservation is confirmed upon receipt of payment. The payment can be made to the bank account number specified in our booking engine.
All additional services booked or consumed during the stay must be paid at check-out.
Cancellation Policy
No charges apply for cancellations until 2:00 PM on the day before the arrival date. For all reservations not canceled by this time or in case of no-show, the entire first night will be charged.
In case of cancellation without charges until 2:00 PM the day before your arrival:
If the reservation was guaranteed with a credit card, the deposit will be released.
If the reservation was paid by bank transfer, the total amount of your reservation will be credited to your account.
If the reservation was paid with Bancontact, Ideal, or Maestro: send your reservation number and bank details to info@debonteos.be. You will be refunded the amount of your reservation within 5 working days.
If you book a non-cancellable, non-refundable rate, these cancellation conditions do not apply. Special cancellation conditions apply for reservations of more than 7 rooms. Contact the hotel for more information.
Reservations
Reservations are made by the customer by phone or through the website. Before each reservation, the customer undertakes to provide the following information:
Breakfast / Lunch / Tea Room / Dinner, etc.;
The number of people (reservations for more than 8 people are made by phone, depending on the restaurant);
The date.
In case of a delay of more than 30 minutes, the customer is requested to notify the restaurant. If this does not happen, the restaurant reserves the right to cancel the reservation.
